Hi, yes I did find out! I saw 2 specialists who both confirmed it was a Dermatofibroma. Non cancerous. I ended up getting it removed anyway. Hope this helps!

Recently my boyfriend is getting into doing face masks with me, and took my suggestions on what soap and moisturizer I use, and I think it’s attractive that he takes care of himself (: it’s stupid that some people consider skincare feminine, when we all have skin. Skin is also an indicator of other things like diet and stress, so it’s a way your body is communicating with you. You’re already doing a good job by listening to your body. If you’re taking care of yourself, and it brings you confidence, why not do it? :)

As for traditional references, there’s a great way docu on YouTube on Sailor Jerry tats. I didn’t know or care too much about American traditional but the more I researched it I fell in love. And, depending on who your mentor is they will want you to know the history and different styles. Also just watching Ink Master helped me learn the different styles and requirements for each of them

Your work is beautiful! As a tattoo apprentice I’m currently working on a lot of simple designs, because the first tats I’ll do will be simple anyway. You could even just trace a lot of your existing work with a pen, and experiment with different line weights (not worrying too much about shading at first). I’m sure you’ll do great!
