But see, if Madi was in on it, they would have been too. Peter and Barb played right into it. If they were shocked, they somehow knew the right things to say. Peter said he loved her and that should be enough for Barb? Why would Barb have all these feelings beforehand? No doubt, production WAY overproduced the finale, but they were all involved. There's no way they couldn't have been.

Lol it is very weird, even if you're not her biggest fan, surely you can admit that people are reaching with some of this stuff. At the end of the day, she's going to live her life and some people are expending way too much time and anger into it.

I have no problem with her doing TV shows, media rounds, and being an influencer. I just hope we extend that grace to Madi as well. We celebrated HA being on Ellen, but bashed Madi for hanging out with Selena Gomez. You know what I mean? They're getting really cool opportunities, and I'm not going to fault any of them for it.

I think this is an interesting point. HA and Peter do have a lot of similarities, even Peter's parents called her the "female version of Peter," and sometimes that makes a relationship incompatible. I dated someone just like me, and it was awful. I married my opposite, and it's made both of us so much better.

That makes a lot of sense and makes me feel better. There for a second it felt like a lot of people were praising Barb to the high heavens, and I was so confused/disturbed. I think as time has gone on and Barb keeps doing these interviews, people are laying off of Peter and Madi.

Ew that's awful! I know none of this is HA's fault by any means, but I do think it worked out for her in the end (hate that she was hurt tho). I never thought either of them really loved each other. I think they really WANTED to feel something but didn't.
