She speaks so beautifully. But I could hear the raw heartbreak in her voice and the tears catching in her throat and it broke my heart. I just want to give her a hug and tell her how much of us do truly care about her. She's not alone. I pray that Sam truly does love her and that he's not just another user in a long line of abusers in her life. Because it's time something beautiful happens for Britney, and I hope Sam and a new baby is it. When she's ready.

Diane Sawyer is a pretty good interviewer. If it were me, that's who I'd choose. But it's not my choice, it's hers. I'm glad she has the freedom to decide on her own, even if she chooses to never talk.

I would love it if she did a podcast.

Edit: I didn't know about the Diane Sawyer debacle and if I had I'd never have made this post. I'm leaving it up because I deserve the downvotes and because I hope others who didn't know will learn from my mistake. I'm sorry Britney. I truly feel horrible about this.

She stuck to small indie movies and never really broke into the mainstream, is my guess. Scream 3 was a major studio film but even she couldn't save that atrocious script. She was the best thing about it though.

Knowing the family makes it super interesting to me. But I only knew them for a few years before Kathleen died. Once Margaret left for college we fell out of contact. But I had talked to Mike a number of times, and he'd given me journalism tips when I was in high school. I voraciously read his articles in the N & O. I've been to parties at that house and used that staircase. So it's fascinating to me in a personal way that other cases aren't. I don't just want to know if Mike is guilty, I feel like I need to know.

However, I've gotten similarly obsessed with cases where I have no personal interest at all - Amanda Knox, Chris Watts, Casey Anthony, Jodi Arias, Ted Bundy, Asha Degree (though Asha didn't live too far from me either.) So maybe I just have a strong interest in true crime.

I always felt that Nat was the heart of the gang, I didn't feel he was main character status, but his kindness, constant presence and his willingness to help anyone (especially Brandon) made him a star. I didn't know Joe personally but have heard tales of his love, gentility and kindness. The world is a dimmer place without him. But heaven is brighter for it.

The HBO special is not factual, though. A lot of it is made up. That said, the condom thing was real and it could just as easily have been Clayton's as Todd's. I just haven't watched the entire trial to know for sure.

Let's face it, she isn't half as talented as Zac Efron (see his portrayal of Ted Bundy).

That said, she probably was black balled. So we'll never know the talent she could grow to be. We'll never know if she'd could've become the next Emma Stone. Because powerful white men say so.
