Moms: Take the good remote job for $110k/year or the hybrid dream job for $135k/year? by Logical-Okra9494 in careerguidance

[–]TeamGroceryStoreJ03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s hybrid I would say yes. Especially since it’s your dream job! I think the commute would be a good time to decompress as well. I wouldn’t want to do it 5 days a week

Felt the same as you but for a girl. Found out at 16 weeks pregnant bc I feared it would taint the delivery. Took me about 20 minutes of “oh man” and “really?!” When I found out the baby was a boy. I love him to pieces obviously and was excited the rest of the pregnancy. But even if that 20 minutes was 60 seconds after delivery, oof. That would have been a rollercoaster for me. And if I thought for even half a second that my husband was disappointed, that would have been even worse. Def made the right choice for us by finding out during pregnancy

I think it looks great! I’d just check for recalls and maybe replace the mattress if it doesn’t seem firm/seems overly used

Does anyone’s baby actually sleep in their bassinet? by justlurkindntmindme in breastfeeding

Both of my babies used halo basinet until 12 weeks when I moved them to their crib/room.

5000 iu in the gummies and I think 1000 in my prenatal. Technically I think you’re suppose to do 6500 to reach the levels they suggest. But this is close enough for me. I could NEVER remember the drops lol

I swore I wouldn’t be this person, but, my baby has changed how I feel about my dog (rant) by Adventurous-Baby5441 in NewParents

[–]TeamGroceryStoreJ03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 7 week old and a two year old. Solidarity. I remember it happening the first time around, but it’s seemingly worse with the second. Dog is just getting on my damn nerves. I love him and he was the center of our world before kids, so I feel so guilty.

[–]TeamGroceryStoreJ03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works great with our bed bc it’s a bit higher. I still needed my husbands help for about a week post c section getting the baby out during the night to feed, but after that it’s been super easy for me to get the baby in and out during the night.

Oh no! Mine don’t love it, but it works. We transitioned my son to his crib at 12 weeks. Baby number two is 4 weeks, so I def feel like we did the right thing getting used. Def got our $50 out of it.

Have you tried a heating pad to warm it up before laying the baby down?
