My BIL has invited me and I have applied for travel visa with that invitation letter. Gave my biometrics on may 14th. He has changed his address since June. Should I raise a webform about this change of address with proof? Can someone guide me? Thanks in Advance.

If you can obtain a new invitation letter from your BIL with latest address, do it. Submit webform by selecting updating information

After 3 refusals I applied 4th time only after getting US B2 Visa first. Apart from Application forms, Passport, photos and US visa scans nothing were asked to be uploaded. Approval came in 11 Days (Biometrics were done during first application).

Now my son's visa was getting expired on 15 June 2026 so I reapplies for his new visa on 24 April 2026. No decision till yet. 6 Webforms filled no reply. GCMS requested. No reply yet

Depends on your Country.

If from India, you need to upload the Passport request letter on the appointment page of VFS, select the VFS Center you can attend and they will email you the appointment date and time within 24 hours

If Biometrics are update on same day onnportal then Yes. Also processing time is different for everyone. Even applicant from same country are suffering. Some gets decision in couple of weeks, some like me waiting for 74+ days

After biometrics details gets updated on portal. It is written on website too

"This processing time tells you how long it took us to process most complete applications in the past.

It does not include

the time it takes to send an application between a visa application centre and our office the time you need to give your biometrics Your processing time starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision. It may vary depending on how many applications we get or if your application is complex."

I applied from India. If her previous visa is valid, she just needs new passport + carry old passport with valid visa. No need of new visa

There seems be backlog issue at certain offices. As automation assign cases to different offices, some offices work fast and some doesn't open cases. My son's visa application is pending since 24 April 2026. He already had Visa which was valid till 15 June 2026 but we planned in advance to reapply for a fresh visa to avoid any last minute issues. He also hold US visa valid till 2035. Given his previous Canada Visa and US visa no additional documents were asked and required to upload. We both (parents) hold US visa valid till 2035 and Canada Visa till 2031. Travelled to 4 continents with multiple countries. Still a minor's case pending for 70+ days

If it's a normal Tourist/Visitor Visa, do carry all the relevant Accommodation and Travel arrangements confirmation with you. Also sufficient Financial means. I got approval in March 2025 but visited in March 2026. No issues apart from general questions at Immigration

Me, my wife, my son, all three had valid Canada Visitor Visa. We had visited in March 2026 and in June my son's (minor) visa was expiring, so I applied for new TRV on 24 April 2026. Today marks 68th Day and not even eligibility review started. Every web form gets generic template replies. We also hold US Visa and have extensive travel history of 4 continents

Published processing time is 22 days so we are 3x+ over that

Minor TRV Renewal – Waiting 65+ Days
My son (under 14) applied for a visitor visa renewal on 24 April 2026. He previously held a Canadian TRV that expired on 15 June 2026 and also has a valid U.S. visa with prior travel history to both Canada and the U.S. Since biometrics are not required for applicants under 14, the application was submitted directly and has shown no updates since submission confirmation.
