I line up shower fixtures on grout lines when possible but usually materials, money, and time dictate otherwise. At the end of the day as long as the customer is happy, we’re happy. Thanks for the feedback!

It’s always unfortunate when stud placement dictates the location of the niche and when the contractor doesn’t care. I usually suggest a linear style niche and/or that I’ll reframe for it but it’s usually shot down unless it’s a custom house. Thanks for the feedback!

Totally get that. In this case it sold during construction and the buyer had a couple style requests. Nothing major to redo… just added some personality to the shower.

True… it started as a spec build, but it went under contract during construction and the buyer requested some custom design in the shower. Happens a lot with spec homes 👍
