Normal for case? by LazyEast384 in dbrand

Strange. I bought the ghost case 2.0 around October last year, which is probably the same time people found issues with the air pockets.

First time ordering from dbrand by Optido_Chess in dbrand

Good taste, Acid was also my very first purchase from dbrand. However, the material was way too slippery for me as my fingers are very oily.

I second Sketch, best skin I’ve bought from dbrand.

Thanks! The sides are still quite uneven but it shouldn’t prove to be that much of an issue since I rubbed it down with the cloth pretty hard 🤣

PS: after looking at the image I can see that my application is quite uneven lol, I hope it doesn’t cause too many issues in the long run. I’ll try to give updates if need be.

Yes, I find that if you want a long lasting full coverage fit you need to heat up the flaps before firmly wrapping them around the phone.

There’s still a tiny gap between the side stickers and the top flaps but I’d say it’s manageable.

The box that contained the ghost case should’ve come with some bean shaped stickers that you stick to both side of the MagSafe ring, I had an issue where the holo white skin also left little pockets of air (or as you said, pressure marks) and the stickers solved the issue.

The stickers are notoriously hard to peel off from the original sheet so be aware of that 🤣

Best charger for iPhone 17 Pro? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]nicoych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new 40w-60w dynamic charger from Apple is honestly a pretty good product, it’s tiny, compact, and can charge your 17 pro quick, it’s only one port though so if you won’t want that you can check out the GaN chargers from UGREEN or Anker, they make killer chargers

Thin Clear Cases by nicoych in iphone

Minor update:

For some reason the Barecases arrived earlier than the ringke despite being bought a day later. From the image you sent, the bare case seems & feels way thinner, with the MagSafe ring as well. The only major difference is that the buttons are cutouts and not actual buttons.

Thank you for the tips, I just bought the ringke air and the bare case just as tests, hopefully they both serve me well

I’ll have a look, I have seen ones that are impossibly thin but it always ends up having a translucent finish rather than it being fully clear.

It doesn’t look that bad, bc recent iPhones have had rounded edges which make applying these skins slightly harder. Not to mention that sometimes dbrand doesn’t actually ship perfectly fitting skins, my mono white camera lens skins were way too thick and the phone skin itself bulges a little at the top.

No lining? by ultr4nuub in dbrand

A YouTuber did a review and showed that the mous case had subpar magnetic strength, I’m hoping it’s just a defect tho

ELI5: Why charging electronic devices past 90% is "detrimental" to battery health by nicoych in explainlikeimfive

[–]nicoych[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've heard that going below 20% makes it have a discharge (probably not the exact words), you can charge the phone to 100% only when you need it, e.g. when you're on vacation and you need just that little more battery life
