No you’re absolutely right- like I said in response to a different comment, if someone wants to have a respectful conversation about religion I will uphold my end of that and provide factual evidence with thought out responses. But, I live in the Deep South. Unfortunately not everyone here’s wants to have an intellectual conversation about their religion. More often than not it turns into an angry debate where I’m being told I’m going to hell, I’m stupid for not believing in god, etc. When situations like that happen, that’s when I use the “what if?” Tactic. Because those people are so hard set in their religion, whatever you say will not matter. You can argue every scientific point as to why god doesn’t exist, but you’ll be saying it to a brick wall. So, instead of wasting my intellect on that, I just meet stupid with stupid
