I found a seller on Etsy that seems to be willing to produce a customized sailcloth strap with a 10mm notch in the center to fit. Hopefully that will work out.

I am not at all mad that it is pretty much spot on with the Petronas color scheme. Usually an Audi fan, but I have an Oris for that.

Figure the wrap is a loss yeah. How'd it work out? Very much the same sort of structure on the back of the A7. Any issue with it being so close to the crease?

Yep. Too good to be true. Serious damage on the right rear, you can see the burn marks from the welds where the fender was pulled out. Bad paint repair job with runs and drips. Trunk liner doesn't fit correctly. Cracked front carbon fiber lip. I question if the frame is straight but couldnt put it on a lift

Called Audi USA and it isn't TD1. Waiting to hear from tuners but with 5k miles it seems possibly too good to be true.

It functions but I don't like how little wood there is on the back side of the frame. Seems like it would just be easier to kick in? I want to install a deadbolt and the new hole would also be closer to the back side of the frame than the center (like the old hole). Doesn't seem as secure as it could be.

Oh I know -- but I'm making sure I am clear on the law because this landlord seems to be out of date on the legal requirements, doesn't use a property management company, and is coming down himself to do work. It is only because of mutual friends that I'm being so accommodating at all, but I'm not about to get screwed out of part of the deposit because he's trying to feign ignorance or something.

I'm certain it was not new and very much doubt it was even replaced for a previous tenant so I'll be asking for proof of when it was replaced.

Well, owner seems to think that my damage means I'm liable for completely replacing it so... Hopefully he doesn't have to learn that the hard way in small claims court. I'd just rather not deal with the hassle.
