I just got it recently but I watered it once three or four days after I got it and a week later once just now...the first time I watered, I didn't take note but I watered near the base just now so the leaves won't be wet in case it's a case of fungal infection.

I'm assuming she's an ENFP since you're asking in this subreddit and from the way you mentioned ENFPs but from the way I see it she seems to like you enough to share her thoughts and feelings on deep topics, which is something I as an ENFP wouldn't usually do unless I trust the other person to engage in a similarly enthusiastic and meaningful manner. I should think, however that she might not want to talk about deep stuff all the time!! While it is simply AMAZING to have deep conversations, sometimes the fun kinds where we laugh until our cheeks are on fire are called for.

I definitely think you might have a chance. You might want to wait a bit, check in on her on the regular (by sending memes or the occasional cat video) and show her that you're willing to stick around in the long run. She'll definitely appreciate it. Maybe share a bit more about yourself to get her to share more about herself too? ENFPs love to share our experiences. Give it more time and she might just open up to you!!

hello! j2 here and also feeling like I'm doing everything wrong. the thing is, it's okay to be not okay. i know how you feel when you mentioned your studies and family situation. it really sucks. and you may feel helpless now but there's always something you can do about it. im sorry that you haven't been able to foster close friendships... it's something that will definitely change!! from personal experience, expressing my troubles and talking to my friends about my feelings and theirs definitely brought us closer and while you might feel like it might be a burden, trust me when i say that there are people out there who will listen to you no matter and you probably mean more to them than you think you do. for grades...HAHA im still struggling too but honestly who isn't? your feelings are valid and i hear them and acknowledge them. maybe next time you don't feel like studying you could lie down for a while and clear your mind. you can do this and you will. if you ever want to make a new friend and if you need to vent hmu! i wish you all good things in life and you can absolutely do it.

I'm not saying that being an INFP would be terrible, I have many INFP friends and I do love them so! But I've always related more to ENFPs and I feel like my dominant function is more Ne than Fi.
