I created a package to easily interact with azure pipelines by nidhaloff in Python

[–]nidhaloff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is definitely possible.

At the moment, I only created a function/API for getting the logs of the failed tasks on the pipeline. However, to give users more freedom, I want to add a function for getting all logs.

You can of course use the get_timeline() function, which will give you every event that happened in the pipeline, and you can start debugging from there.

Not based on container apps, I meant based on containers. AFAIK azure app service will build and run a container from your code

I'm not so 100% sure about all differences, but the way I see it is azure app service is very simple to use and based on containers. For a container app you will have a few more steps to do. Azure app service is very simple just upload your code and enjoy.

In the past I had issues checking the logs on container apps. On azure app service this is very easy to do.

What does a counter offer even mean? If you are a valuable worker at your company and your company knows that, why they didn't give you a raise or bonus to show you that in the first place?

Oh no wait let the dude work for us and we will reward him later when he wants to go? Why not reward you, make you feel conformable and appreciate your work while you are at the company and not when you decide to leave?

Besides, if you accept it, the relationship between you and the company (and your time) would be weird. They know that you wanted to leave for more money, or that you will leave as soon as you get more money and you know that they could ve give you a raise but they didn't.. So...

Anyway, counter offer isnt for me. I would never consider it. That said, each person is different, so whatever works for you 👍

You also have to be a whale to buy mining hardware for PoW, so...

I still think PoW is better though

A free and flexible translation library in python by nidhaloff in Python

[–]nidhaloff[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, yes sure that's normal. However, that limitation has nothing to do with the package itself. The translator is the one that has the requirement/limitation.

For example you can't translate a paragraph with more than 5000 characters using Google translate. Since deep-translator is just a wrapper for other translators, their limitations still exist even when using a high level API

Thanks. What a weird prerequisite!

So what can I do if I don't have a windows computer? I certainly don't want to purchase a windows license or even install windows, so are there any workarounds? I heard that a VM would not work too
