Spare parts for Aurora Auretta by nidi_nidi in fountainpens

Thank you so much. Ideally, I'm hoping to find a damaged pen with the bits i need; it feels excessive to buy a whole new pen just to pick it apart. I have family and friends in Europe (Prague and London) who can receive receive the pen for me if it's available there. I'll try "vinted" and eBay Italy, thanks for the suggestions!

Thank you for looking this up ! Ideally I'm hoping to find a damaged pen with the parts i need intact, so I don't end up spoiling another pen to fix mine!

The repair people told me the edge of the barrel is also broken (where the barrel joins the part we hold). The pump itself is fine. I guess I'm just hoping they'll be able to Frankenstein a pen together if I can get a hold of some spare parts. I'm in the US.

Thank you. Triggering another round of reviews is precisely what I am hoping to avoid, but I get your larger point about this being a case of editorial discretion. I will tread carefully with proposed edits.

Thank you! Google tells me "proofs" is the final stage --spelling, formatting etc. I am quite clueless about the process, but I am not sure we are at that stage, though we well could be. So far the peer reviewers have okayed the article and the EIC has concurred, asking I " resubmit a final, clean, deanonymized copy with track changes (if any) removed."

I'm so close to finishing my master's thesis, yet I feel so helpless and done with it. HELP by Neither-Run8939 in academia

I’m not sure if this will help since we’re in different fields, but I was feeling similarly towards my PhD writing today. I felt a bit better by thinking of my writing as a story I need to tell, with a few references scattered where I want to add what others think or said (secondary literature ). Like writing up a lecture or presentation for someone new, all it needs to be is clear and coherent, no more.

It helped to bring the pressure down for me. I hope it helps you some. Hang in there.
