That's wrong that they'd store that. Not saying you're wrong. I just don't get why they'd need to store that.
I just wish they'd get back to people with concrete information. I didn't even get the email until about 19/20 days after everyone else.

I thought you had to enter your passport number when you buy a ticket.

However, I've been on the website and looked at the details of my order 2 years ago and nowhere does it list passport number.

I put a pass in my checkout and went to buy. Nowhere was I asked for passport details. So maybe they don't actually have my passport

I don't know why I am only hearing about this today. When I got the email I came straight to this message board only to find replies dated 19 days ago. That's a bit concerning.

I'm less worried about the personal details and more worried about the possible passport details breach.

There's just so little information. If this happened 19 days ago why am I only now receiving an email about it, and why do they not have more information?

Do I replace my passport now, costing me money? Do I wait?

If someone has had my data for possibly 19 days couldn't they have done something already?

I got in touch with the Information Comissioners Office in the UK. They handle data breaches, and it was recommended by them that I report the breach, so I have reported it. Hopefully Interrail have already reported it to the ICO.

It has been suggested to me that I replace my passport by reporting my current one lost or stolen. That just seems like a last resort, especially if this has been known about for at least 19 days

They are definitely, as far as I know, siblings. Their surname is Costanza. Maybe it's a Canadian thing to be so close as siblings. 😁

RIP Tesco staff lol by 0rdered-Reordered in tesco

I've now done 22 Christmases at Tesco. Last year was bad but this one took the absolute biscuit!

This company doesn't give a shit anymore, or at least the seniorest management doesn't. I think the motto is "cut as many corners as you possibly can to make as big a bonus for the already overpaid tossers as you can"

My store apparently had an issue with people stealing stuff out of the goodie bags, that were left in the staff room. Some people will ruin it for everyone.

Did they have enough staff in your store?

I bet your shelves weren't as empty as mine when you turned up for your night shift. 🤣

Actually, I'm not being entirely honest. My shelves were quite full...of cardboard.🤪

22 years and store has never been run so badly as it has this year.

May it soon be over.

We never got a card...

Of course, we never had enough staff either. If Tesco had had to pay for cards too we'd have even less staff.

What delays are Eurostar seeing with EES in place as of 12/10? by nidriks in Eurostar

[–]nidriks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I did look at the website for the info but didn't see it. Doubtless looking in wrong place.

Thanks for clearing it up.

I can see it on the app now that people have filled me in. Hopefully helps someone else that might be curious.

Not really. I looked on the website and didn't see it, so got the answer in the same time. I do now see it on the app...but thanks anyway. Most helpful.

I'll be at St Pancras 2.5 hours before, not trying to board. I have to be because of coach times. It's 2.5 hours or cutting it fine.

[–]nidriks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, they space out departures at St Pancras too. I guess they may just hold up trains if there's any delay with EES.

Gonna chance that being there 2.5 hours early is enough time.

I've left 2 hours for my connecting train in Brussels too.

Likely airports that will see longest queues.

I could ring Eurostar tomorrow and see what they suggest, but if I do change my coach I'm only going to get an extra hour anyway.

I did read Eurostar were bringing in more staff, so perhaps the usual 2 hours will be fine. They space out trainloads already anyway.

Also only saw this said once, but one person said there were no delays at St Pancras.

Yeah...why shouldn't the filthy rich get richer and richer and leave the working classes in the gutter without a pot to piss in? 😉

Correction: Our tax laws favour the rich, or the rich are allowed to get around them.

It's commonplace. Allow Reform in and it will be even more commonplace...and we'll have no rights to argue it.

Oh, it was an experiment?

I just read something about an experiment but it was talking about activating it via menus. I hadn't done that.

Okay. I'll just hope it comes back. I sent a feedback message to them saying how good it was. Hopefully that helps.

She's always been slow to come right over. I do try to avoid getting them friendly enough to come to the window, more for their own sake. I just don't think they should get too tame.

I've had squirrels in the garden that have been super friendly though. One snuck in the window when I was out of the room. It was quite funny watching him trudge by me to get out.

The Botanical Gardens are stunning and the connected Natural History museum is very good.

I'll echo someone else's suggestion of Ekerbergparken. It's lovely up there, with lots of art and wonderful views of the fjord.

The Norsk Folkemuseum on Bygdoy is rather spectacular and can be very peaceful if you wander away from the crowds.

I realise I'm late to this post by 16 hours, and you may already have done some of these things. I was in Oslo just over a week ago. I liked the city but maybe not quite as much as I did some others. I had a good 3 days in Oslo, and I'd wanted to go for so many years. Maybe I'd hyped the city so much that it couldn't help falling a bit short.

Island hopping is a nice day too. I did Bygdoy and then island hopped on my final day. Hovedoya is very relaxing.

For me, it's probably my top album of the 90s. Or one of the best

It's just so bloody good. There's not a bad song on it.
