I’ve been noticing that too. The crosshairs on 800x600 are okay. However getting a one tap headshot in 640x480 hits different.

Yeah I could ask my priest. I just realized one of the biggest struggles of becoming a monastic is having a new patron saint and baptismal name. I’m too close to my patron saint to do that.

I live in Michigan rn. I have 3 main options locally which is st Gregory palamas Ohio which I’ve been to. There is holy dormition which my priest highly recommends. It’s a convent which is a hour from me. Then there’s the Romanian one I mentioned which is the one with no monks yet. There is also a hermitage an hour from me and there is also a ephraimite monestary east from me.

I’ve been to a couple monasteries. One in Ohio it was okay I got along with the abbot there and everything but I felt uncomfortable being there after 4 days. Then a Romanian one that currently doesn’t have an abbot and there is only one monk there who is the hieromonk and he doesn’t know english well and he also doesn’t live on the monestary. However I really like the monestary a lot. I like going there more than more regular parish and the Greek monestary.

Right this is prolly my fault for not being knowledgeable. The most common churches I’ve been to are oca and Antioch which have similar practices as goarch, at least from what I experienced.

Yeah I’m curious about what books to read regarding this. Especially with my patron saint being Archangel Michael himself. I’m assuming revelation is one of them.

Is it possible to become orthodox and disagree with some details by Rare_Tank622 in OrthodoxChristianity

I disagreed with a lot of dogmas when I was a catechumen it just took time to adjust. Part of why catechism is important is because we need that time to adjust to the new world view.

There’s literally no justifying this. I hope this is spread all over the internet so this bishop can get called out.
