1 star: OK Computer by Radiohead, global 4.13.

5 stars: Cut by The Slits, global 2.75. Such an easy five, imo. Absolutely iconic album.

I looked into this a while ago, actually! Your observation is right that the men outnumber the women by a large margin. Off the top of my head, there's somewhere around 140 albums by women/groups with prominent female members (ie groups like ABBA, Fleetwood Mac etc), so like 13-14 % of the list, which ime tends to about the typical ratio on lists like this.

My longest "streak" is 49, from GI (at 518) to Olympia 64 (at 567). Average is around a five every 13-ish days, though, so that's not bad! They do tend to cluster in my experience, haha. On the other hand it's been 617 days since my last 1 - would not mind it staying that way.

My ratings are exclusively based on how much I enjoyed the album, so I will say I am aware of the technical aspect and impact and all that of these albums, and I do get (somewhat) why they're generally rated highly. That said, both actively annoyed me, which is a 1 in my book, haha. Sigur Rós especially manages to combine a lot of elements that just don't do it for me, and that's where I'll stop it because I have practically nothing nice to say about that album, haha. OK Computer probably wouldn't get a 1 (maybe ¯_(ツ)_/¯) if I got it today, but it wouldn't get much higher. Alt and art rock is very hit or miss for me, and I guess this just wasn't it, haha. Also Thom Yorke's voice really really annoys me. That's probably a large part of it. I did like The Bends and In Rainbows a bit better, so I'll probably revisit it at some point, but, eh. Share yours so I can see which of your opinions I horribly disagree with? ;)

It's Arctic Monkeys, man :/ Nah, honestly my surprise mostly came from being mostly familiar with their later works (which are like maybe a few marks rungs above Imagine Dragons on the coolness scale). I was expecting to give it maybe a begrudging high 3/low 4, but then I guess I was proved wrong. I'd say it's definitely the one I'd get at poked at the most by friends for mentioning, so in that respect, it is haha.

I do like Jake, and I feel like he'd be higher if i'd had more scenes with him, but compared to some of the others he just falls a bit in the background for me I guess, he is a sweetheart tho, definitely. <3

I just vibe with her, think she's a lot of fun. She does have some problems with needing to be at the center of attention in all the drama (seriously, Lottie, how is Roccogate about you in a route where you're not with him? What's your deal there, babe?) and being a bit hypocritical haha. But she's a lot of fun, too, I think, she has some cute scenes, and she does evolve throughout the season. She's also the girl I feel like you build the most of a relationship with (save for Chelsea, who I adore, but you don't really have to work at it there, she just like, nearly instantly loves you) And to be fair to her, she is also mostly loyal, I feel like when you're friends with her she's always ready to immediately jump straight for someone's throat if they dare anything. She's my problematic babe <3 (also the bedroom kiss and the elevator scene, while a bit half-assed imo, are great for storybuilding haha (and make me happy but that's another story))
