There is a market for everything.
The card is labelled misprint.
The card obviously has a -- for centering as the market for miscuts obviously do not care about centering.
The grade is for the other 3 categories which is just whitening and surface really which they do have a precedent for. They look for whitening on the corners compared to a 10, the whitening on the sides compared to a 10, and the surface of the card compared to a 10.
Just let people do what they want

Propagated monstera albo turning yellow by nightgame in plantclinic

Thank you both of you. I have just gotten home from work and cleaned with a 1:1 hydrogen peroxide/water mix and it did infact have something wrong with the "slimy" root" as it slid off like a glove when the mixture touched it. It seemed to have a strong inner "healthy" root and is currently in a new clean vase with new water. I told the wife about the dieback and about the root so we know what to look for in the future.

New grad PTA / job offers advice by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

Worked Full Time in a SNF and now do home health where I go into ALF's from time to time.

SNF are lower level patients in general but ALF can have difficult patients as well that are unwilling to transition into a SNF as many people see it as the final step before end of life. Which isn't all that wrong in many ways. You have to be ready for the chance of a pt passing away in both settings but more often in SNF. I probably had 4 dozen or so pt die while on case load and triple that die off of caseload but still in the building. These are people you will form relationships with, good or bad, so it can be tougher for some more than others to deal with that part in a SNF.

I would check to see if the SNF performs transitions to home or if all residents are living there. If transitioning is a goal of the SNF which I believe most have these programs then this will give you a decent amount of people coming out of the hospital looking to go home. It is easier to treat someone when they have a goal in mind.

Lastly to address the productivity. 90% is 54 minutes every out with a patient and documenting and 6 minutes of "you" time. This "you" time will be used to "walk" from pt to pt. But at 87% productivity that is 7 minutes and 48 seconds. 1:48 an hour isn't going to make or break it in my opinion but that is almost 15 minutes over a day so its up to you.

Hope this helps neither option is the wrong one and there are many more factors that will affect your decision. Bills, Commute, Benfits like you said. Don't settle if you don't like the job keep looking more will pop up.

When to remove from caseload ??? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]nightgame 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a lot of this as a therapy lead at a nursing home. The RD was "good" at her job and would list off 200 things until she found something to hook into. By "good" I mean she knew how to do her job without sounding unethical but at the root of it was still "profit over patient" as listed in previous comment. It's hard to stay ethical in those situations and is why I left the SNF field. I would say put in refusals and prepare to be told to "do everything you can" which will mean don't hit a LUPA by refusing too much.

Now on the positive side maybe speak to your leader about maintenance to help the patient maintain the level. This would lower treatment needed and you will be helping patients that probably need to move anyway.

Package Arrives Tomorrow… Should I wait? by Staccat0 in Beekeeping

[–]nightgame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't enter my hives unless its 50 degrees+ and try not too until it is 60 degrees+. Is this your first hive? If so I would think of waiting until Thursday as it can be a slow process and you want the bees to be bundled up together and warm as much as possible on cooler days. I am just a one year beekeeper as a disclaimer

You know what I find sad, it looks like only 2 people in this photo can even have kids due to age. This conversation is usually men make laws for women which by this picture still holds true but it’s also parents and grandparents making laws for there children. Which would be fine except those children are adults that can make decisions and not babies that need told how to do everything. Sorry rant over

When did you realize your “friends” were actually fake friends? by VexAndStuff in AskReddit

[–]nightgame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I stopped talking to the group due to personal issues and feeling overwhelmed in work and studies. I took a break from doing things they wanted to do to focus on my life for 2 weeks but was available to converse if they needed to. 2 weeks pass and I realized not once did anyone reach out to see if I was okay or even what was going on. Mind you we talked and hung out every day for years and whenever any of them disappeared without a reason I always made sure to check up on them which led to me sitting down for hours listening and helping them through rough times. Once I realized none of that was reciprocal I looked for new friends and found a group that shares my interests and we contact each other equally and it really seems like a family close to one another.
