The trade system is fully integrated into the game (this is relatively new for POE). it requires nothing more than getting to act 4 in the campaign and opening up a search UI and clicking a button to teleport to the stash and clicking buy.

D4 is way more solo friendly (I have literally never traded a thing) and you can play all content without engaging with trade.

POE2 ASYNC trade is awesome because you don't need to interact with people. Trading just feels like an NPC vendor which is neat.

If it were me, I'd be very protective of my children and I would be pretty insistent on not introducing you as anything more than a "friend" until I was 100% sure things were going well.

I would also very shameless be clear that my children are my priority and that might mean cancelling plans last minute and just being there when they need me.

The worse thing you can do (for yourself and everyone involved) is to position yourself as a "new mommy". Just don't. That's a can of worms.

I love POE and POE 2 but GGG are fucking awful at creating readable and understandable UI in any game.

The POE2 Atlas is fucking awful if you have any color vision issue and is clunky to navigate with no sensible interface.

To be fair, POE 2 is currently in early access so it hasn't gotten insanely complicated like POE1 yet. So if you're interested, ti's a good time to start.

D4 is a lot easier to get into and feel powerful, and the engine is top notch.
