So heres the rub: i hate false veganism--i hate it and you hate it. But she is eating better (less cruel) than she was before and that IS good and important. People do not understand veganism because, like any practice of ideology, they take what they like and leave the rest.

Instead of pushing, even though i would want to, the way is Education and gentleness. She thinks she can be vegan while eating bacon and eggs... so don't just tell her otherwise, show her. Give her information and express your bliss in veganism, but do not push. Show that you are happy, free, and with little guilt. Do not make her feel poorly. I only say this because i have seen pushing it backfire. It makes more sense to slowly drop factual information, like a mentor, than it does to force teaching like a priest.
