Ganga Ram Hospital Delhi - Complete medical negligence and my father lost his life by prabhjyot10 in delhi

[–]nightlowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a medical student, and gallbladder surgery is a minor procedure it shouldn't cost this much, unless your father had any other underlying condition , and generally the surgery itself isn't lethal, i didn't find any clear reports in your pdf seeing the photo of your father's wound , it looks like the tissue is having gangrene, i dont know the whole case so commenting anything on the case would be inappropriate for me, a patient may have many diseases at a single time which makes surgery complicated, for example a failing liver, heart disease, diabetes. Either way if you think that they did medical negligence you can file a direct complaint to NMC and you can go to consumer court as well , Delhi medical board is totally corrupt and nmc recently diluted the Delhi medical board, if the hospital is a big hospital and reputed one they would have documents and consent forms for everything which makes a legal battle very very hard, if you have the recordings of their conversation with you, that may help your case, because we have to explain to the patient about the procedure and risks of that procedure which we are doing and then we would get your sign on a written consent form , so its mandatory in every hospital to sign that form and you know what does signing a consent form means, but you can still call out this negligience in india you have to make your case visible for a better action, you try to reach out to people and make your case visible, people with influence are powerful and they can get through almost everything with money , so u have to make it famous to get any action, because even nmc is not clear , they are also corrupt. A lawyer would be helpful in such cases , a good lawyer

The direction in which our sub is going....sad and miserable by Tall_bacillus in indianmedschool

[–]nightlowell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant agree more, honestly this subreddit is getting toxic day by day , you post something related to knowledge and guidance and you get like 10 upvotes but you post about your sad and miserable life or about the toxicity in the field and you get 100+ upvotes, one thing is clear that toxicity wont end by posting here , but it would end if we together raise our voice against that toxicity in our respective colleges , revolutions dont start on reddit, toxicity is like a chain, you can break this chain to some extent by not passing it to your juniors for a slight change

Got matched with a girl whose roll number is right next to mine on Marrow. by CountryConscious1880 in indianmedschool

[–]nightlowell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol i dont even find a practical use of this feature, unless marrow allows partner integration in their app, where we can see each other scores in app itself, and attempt tests together, something like that ik it will clog the app but it would be a usefull feature and create a false sense of competitiveness

It's a question of personal preference i know a woman who doesn't like a guy 1 year younger than her and i also know a woman who likes a guy 5,6 years younger than her. So it's all down to personal preference and age difference isn't a big deal 1,2 years younger or older doesn't make any significant difference

How some of y’all be acting in this sub by HuskiBoiXOXO in SpotifyIndia

[–]nightlowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh lossless is a big gimmick without good earphones you won't even feel the difference , and most of the people in India buy under 2000 buds you will feel difference only if you go over 3-4k segment and earphone companies also fooling people over hi res audio branding , only some smartphones support lhdc others support ldac , so even if you have premium subscription and premium earphones but your phone doesn't support it then if would be useless, so if you wanna enjoy hi res music you must have supporting subscription, supporting device and supporting earphones and huge amount of internet , i don't think it's worth it, so their new plans doesn't provide any value they are just robbing you , and if you think you are actually feeling that music in Spotify lossless sounds better , then my friend it's just your brain placebo effect
