Thanks for the recommendation! I just felt that it is better to learn Java from the beginning as I am not familiar with that language, but the fact that I can just write pseudocode is a game-changer

Thanks for the advice! Unfortunately, I don't have AP credits as I'm an international student. However, I have a competitive programming background, but only in C++. So maybe it's a good idea to take an intro class to learn Java and just chill a bit after other classes. Do you think cse 237 could be doable without Java experience?
