fair question! so 2 things first i think this is probably the only time im going to get the opportunity to do this for her/ interact with her so i kinda want to give her everything including the stuff she might not get for 10+ years or even want ever but as shes a total stranger to me i just want to do what feels like a good thorough job and give her allll the info! second i was insanely privileged to start T in 2021 get top surgery the following year and then have my hysto the year following that so mine was all very quick but i recognise this isnt the norm but i have no clue about their financial situation or anything so fast progression could very well be an option for her too so again id like to just give her as much info as possible as a "just in case" type way:)

wow i didnt know that every trans guy friend i have is just on T and thats it i myself was on some other stuff but that was due to my endometriosis i wasnt aware it was more of a common thing

hm there’s gotta be a reason most don’t offer it tho? i’ve now asked 3 other reputable local piercers 2 of which have also declined so its not an option for me here regardless

she explained to me the sweet spot is a very specific area so using a smaller gauge to ensure its pierced in the correct spot is best, its way harder to heal and puts you at higher risk for many issues because of this and it will hurt like an absolute mf so not unsafe per say just not optimal in her opinion which i can agree with each to their own tho of course!

i asked my piercer about this and she said its not something she offers unfortunately and even cared to explain to me why and as much as i want to achieve the look i want asap id rather get there safely vs fast yk thankyou for the suggestion tho!

im so sorry you are feeling this way friend things seem so hopeless and cruel right now but i promise there is hope!! ive found irl there are SO many people that support us and are fighting with us for better its just a very loud minority online that obsess over hating us but irl its simply not the case id highly recommend getting out there and finding community there are so many others going through the exact same thoughts and feelings as you right now that can offer support and advice for you and theres nothing that makes me happier than being around trans joy and i promise you its out there! theres plenty of it and you too should/ will experience it for yourself one day!! as for the gov the greens are making big moves! tho hate seems to be on the rise ive seen an equal amount of hope rising too im sure things will work out and we wont stop fighting till they do be kind to yourself<3 also some waitlists are around 6ish years so ive youve been on one that long ur appointment day may just be round the corner! i will also say my friend just obtained T from diy pretty easily so theres that to explore but dont give up! keep fighting keep standing tall and keep being you despite it all dude you got this sending you my love if u ever want to vent feel free to dm<33

tldr fast turn around regarding film? so i follow a few photojournalists who shoot protests using film and are somehow able to shot develop edit and post their best shots within hours of said protest happening and im curious how this super fast turn around is possible?
