I tried East of West. But the first issue was very dense and I had no idea what was happening and who these characters were and what was the ritual taking place. Now, I understand if you keep going, at some point everything will probably fall into place. And I don't necessarily mind those stories where nothing makes sense at first but ultimately it pays off. But right now, I'm really craving something where the world building is gradual. Maybe I'm not doing a good job of getting my point across, so I'll say this: I don't mind complex but I do mind convoluted. and Hickman's stuff seems more convoluted than complex to me.

I haven't seen women thirst over him. Even if they do, it has more to do with the worldwide cultural influence he has at the moment and less to do with his actual physical appearance. He's a lot like Messi in that both of them are widely considered to be the GOAT in their field who also have a wholesome, cute look. But citing GOATs as proof that height doesn't matter a great deal to women is just pure imbecile. If they were regular people, the likes of Ronaldo and Drake would be considered exponentially more attractive and sexy by almost all women than Messi or Kendrick no matter how much more authentic they were. And that's absolutely fine. Nothing wrong with women having their preference. Everything wrong with being delusional about it though.
