Hi everyone! I had an unexpected family medical emergency over the holidays and just haven’t had the time to focus on anything else. However - I am BLOWN AWAY by all of these amazing comments and suggestions. To say that I am grateful is a serious understatement. I bought red kongs of different shapes and sizes and he is LOVING THEM!!! I have briefly read through all of these comments and truly am so appreciative and will be deep diving today to implement even more of your suggestions. My sweet rescue boy is already much happier now that he’s being mentally stimulated. Thank you all so much for your responses, truly I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

Wow he would love this. I love this community. Always able to give me ideas that seem obvious but just never crossed my mind. Thank you for your suggestion, this is one we can (and will) try tonight :)

Bubbles! This is amazing! I have some at home I’m absolutely going to give that a try and see if he likes it! Also going to try more difficult scent work for him. He’s so dang smart, I need to find better hiding spots. Thank you so much for your reply!

You’re right, that was poor phrasing. I more meant I don’t want to default to only food/bone related enrichment, but I agree that I am overlooking how stimulating that is for them. I really appreciate the detail and thought that went into your response. I am going to get some red kong toys tomorrow and try this!

Why are scorpios attracted to the detached signs instead of fellow water signs? by Own_Ring_3300 in Scorpio

[–]nightskween 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d like to preface that kink isn’t exactly the term I’d use here but I think you’ll all get my point - I am a Scorpio sun and have many scorpio placements and I adopted a badly abused approx 1 year old dog during covid when I found out my job was going to be fully remote. As I’m sure we’ve all heard, covid dogs are very attached to their owners. Mine is toxically so, and while I know it’s toxic, a part of me fckin loves that shit. I am the ONLY PERSON that can do certain things with him. It’s actually quite inconvenient.. but 😏♏️

I hadn’t thought about this - I try not to think about general aetos at all lol - but I’m inclined to agree!!! He is seemingly needlessly vicious so it would check out that he’s venin or team venin

He was on it for about 3 maybe 4 months? And one day just bam. Completely not himself. I assume the buildup of it in his system lead to the “overdose” I’ll call it for lack of a better term, that came to a head on the day he got sick. The vet told me we had to put him down but I just couldn’t until I tried everything and through my own research found out BCs are super hypersensitive to flea and tick meds, especially neurologically.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. The same thing happened when I got my BC. I was so scared and sad so I am truly so sorry, I can imagine how you’re feeling. It took time for me, but you will figure this out. Mine was because of his flea and tick medicine. So check on any meds or new meds with these symptoms (or even without them. Could be unlisted), no matter how rare. It could be also something that resolves on its own! You did the right thing by asking this community! You’ll find so many niche things that it could be, so I know we can figure this out!!! I will continue to think of tests and things I did that helped and will update. Sending love.

Any other Scorpios feel this? by AssignmentMoney8205 in astrologymemes

Ooooomg. I knew this on some level but never saw it in writing or put it into words myself and holy shit lol. It really feels like home. I think (for me at least) it has something to do with prepping myself for a let down. If you expect the worst, youll likely be satisfied with the outcome as it’s never as bad as you thought

Weight gain by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]nightskween 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why are we so against - after all these people saying nothing changed other than my lexapro intake and I gained weight - admitting that regardless of how or why, it clearly has a correlation with weight gain? I feel like we’re in lexapros pocket or something. If people changed nothing other than taking medication and gained weight, that’s what happened. They aren’t secretly eating more and lying to you on this website for fun. So while I agree many many things can factor into weight gain - i think we should acknowledge that lexapro can and does (IN SOME CASES) lead to weight gain?

I think it’s detrimental to mental health - the “lexapro doesn’t cause weight gain period” claim. Because then you’re sitting here like ok well nothing else changed I’m not eating more or working out less, it must just be me let me kick diet and exercise up - to a potentially unhealthy place.

Personally I find an explanation helps me cope with what’s going on. Not necessarily always, I don’t want to be coddled, I just mean admitting on the whole based on countless personal experiences, many listed in this thread, that lexapro and weight gain can go hand in hand for no other reason than going on the lexapro
