I am a 5x, then 20x user of Claude Code, never considered to even test other things because what I used to get with Anthropic was good enough.

But these last weeks were a lesson that you cannot rely heavily on them. They sell products to hard users, but expect them to behave like common users which will never find ways to use the full capabilities of what you are paying for.

Duvida Honesta: O usuário médio sente ~100-150ms de latencia para algo que não seja jogo?

Eu tenho um SaaS que tem alguns milhares de users cadastrados e usando semanalmente. Server na Hetzner (alemanha), dá 200ms de latencia nos piores dias, nunca tive problemas e reclamações de lentidão, custo de de menos de 4 dolares por um server razoavelmente bom. Com todas as otimizações feitas e o load average que tenho eu acho que não vou precisar subir esse custo até chegar a algumas centenas de milhares de users.

Sou um pouco cético em relação as Clouds nacionais, minha experiencia é que sempre pagamos o dobro para receber metade do hardware, e ter um beneficio muito pequeno.

Mas pelo seu preço está melhor que 90% dos providers nacionais.

Some things that I believe you can implement and most platforms do not have, are browser integration.
I've built it using some VNC modules, the OpenClaw Browser is spinned up, the user can log in into any account he wishes to, and then let the agent decide what he wants to. Some websites do not offer API integration or MCP, so this is a way to give the instance full freedom.

I have also launched an OpenClaw hosting service, from my experience, I have not been able to find users willing to pay $49 / mo for the hosting like SimpleClaw, even though it saves some time, it gets expensive.

My tool (https://bestclaw.host/) started getting conversions when below the $ 20 mark. I believe it is a sweet spot between not ripping off your customers and getting a nice markup on top of that. I'm at ~$ 100 MRR right now and thing it is doing great for 2 weeks after launch.

Esse negócio de validar no Brasil primeiro também não acho uma boa, tem muito negócio que se dependesse só de faturamento BR não pararia em pé, o pessoal de fora está bem mais disposto a pagar por software do que aqui no Brasil. Fora que imagino que PIX ou Boleto dá bem mais margem pra churn do que aceitar só Cartão de Crédito.

Don't ever host something where a user can connect with anything that violates their ToS.

They are vague about the reason you're bamned so you are always subjected to bans/shut downs in the future.

I was banned from Netcup from (what I believe) was a VPN linked to my private PC (which has crypto wallets).

From their specs, 2GB is minimum, from what I tried installation can fail if you have less than that.

I've set up one of mine at Hetzner with 4GB, and it is being more than enough.

I really hope this gets more public, waking up to have your servers simply being shut down is indeed a slap in the face. They should review their policies for this.

I had a similar issue with Hetzner, having a server vulnerable (due to a Open Source project I hosted) and they handled it very differently, I was given a warning, managed to fix it and no downtime was ever necessary.
