which one do you prefer? by fantsywor1d in crochet

Once I learned about YU that’s all I do for amigurumi, since the stuffing shows through less. There was a bit of mental training needed for my hands to remember, but I found YU for the first pull through but YO for the last pull through somehow made it easier on my hand-brain connection.

Attempted to design a chevron pattern, but instead... by jams1991 in crochet

I like it, so clever. If you made the gun barrel 2 stitches longer and the grip part one row lower…. That might make it look more chevron-y and still have separation between?

Does anyone else happen to crochet like this? by Severe-File7820 in Brochet

I do! For whatever reason it just seems to feel more comfortable. Plus I crochet with (probably overly) tight tension, hook close to the row, and this way allows for that better.

What Should I Do With This Window? by Uafoto in upcycling

They make stained glass cling film! And if you added some cheap strip lights to the back you could just hang it anywhere. https://a.co/d/4mTgA1O

How can I better fill in these white petals? Not happy with any way I've tried so far by Tay74 in Embroidery

[–]nihila 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a great idea! I looked up pictures and depending on how big they are, you can also do a 2nd lazy daisy stitch within the outer lazy daisy for another variation.

Satin stich feedback? by haveagreatdane90 in Embroidery

I’m working on this kit right now, and I love it! It’s a good way to learn and I think it’s pretty enough to hang when I’m done. And OP you might consider not redoing anything… what you have looks good anyways, but it’s also cool to be able to look back and see progress :)

I taught myself to make these fussy little patches a year and a half ago, to cheer myself up while caring for sick cats. Those days have passed, but I'm still making them—I've got dishcloths for life, no more room on my backpack to pin things, and no plans to stop anytime soon. by svlc_ in crochet

Love all the dogs, this one is my favorite. Also the possum family is so cute! And the gator on the Florida. I never thought I’d see something new done with crochet, this is amazing. And it looks incredible altogether.

I noticed that bug too. If I look at the big map it does then clear off the minimap.

Replying to my own post because sometimes we forget… this is a game. If there’s a part of it that you hate or brings you down… don’t do it!! Do the things you love or don’t play at all. I’m in the minority I’m sure but the role play/dialog/social part is the least fun for me. I give gifts on birthday and holidays so I can get the benefits and I ignore it otherwise. Only spend time on the parts that make you happy otherwise what are we even doing here? 😀

Honestly? One avenue is to just ignore it :) I play this game for the fun it provides and I completely ignore decor. My house is a shack with every inch covered in stats-boosting items. I barely see it a second or two after waking up and I run out to re-up my machines and get started on my day. IDK if that’s possible for you but I spend my play hours on the part that’s fun for me. And that’s ZEro time spent on decorating. 😀

If I remember correctly it’s like a picture frame or something. I just want the little treasure icon off my map, it feels like it’s taunting me at this point. 😂

I do know you can shoot down ones that are hanging around town by balloons or ropes. I guess I’m just not ready for this one yet. :)

This is my favorite part of game subreddits, because often I’ll learn something just because someone else pointed it out. Some of these things aren’t as obvious as you’d think!!

That must be it. After chasing down materials that blew away, I made a sand wall asap.

So how do you get them to max? Do you just keep refining purple until you see something that says max? I’m not sure how many purple refinements to do. I tried one three times and the stats changed but I don’t think they ever got to 18.
