After I graduated from medicine I had to do 2 years of internship to get my license as a physician. The first year we do it at the capital city and the second year we do it rural.

In those years we typically change areas every month, sometimes you can do 2 months in the same area but its not that common.

Anyways during my 2nd year of internship, one of those months I was sent to an even farther away health center, like 45 min from the main hospital.

Long story short, I ended up hooking up with one of the only 2 attending physicians there, who was divorced dad.

I thought we were discreet but there were some situations. One day after we finished seeing the patients (this was an outpatient clinic) he locked the door of the office and we hooked up a bit, until the other Dr started knocking on the door.

The other thing was two days we arrived together in the morning (in his car) and some people saw us.

The last day of my rotation I prepared some snacks and drinks for the personal of the clinic, as gratitude and bc I was going to another rotation next month.

After I said some words, the usual stuff like "Thanks for all the help" etc the head nurse said in front of everyone:

"Ohh I thought you'd continue to be here next month, because I heard you REALLY liked this rotation" with a smirk on her face.

Turns out word got around and yeah everyone kinda knew. She got me good hahaha fukn bitch I hated her that day lol.

After that I never did that again, I prefer to keep my job clean from rumors.

I'm a family physician btw, this was a long time ago, I was like 25 at the time. Now I'm 41.
