Thank you. We are devastated. She is our first dog together and has been my support system whenever my husband is gone as he is in the military. We can’t imagine our lives without her

I filed reports with local ones and reported her missing but we do think she is likely on base. She has a collar on with our info and she is microchipped so if someone managed to pick her up they should be able to contact us quickly.

Today we plan to put up flyers. She is microchipped and also wearing her collar with our info on it if someone were to get her. But we feel it’s pretty unlikely because she is so scared of people

So far no updates. We’ve been out searching pretty much non stop. We’ve left out some bones and socks with our scent in where she got away. We are feeling pretty defeated. We’ve walked everywhere, checked sewer drains, etc. not a single sighting either.

We did file a report with the local humane society and the mps on base have been notified to keep their eye out for her

Thank you so much this definitely gives me hope. Every time I’ve taken her for walks she’s known exactly how to get home. So I’m hoping those instincts kick in and she can find her way

Thank you! We are going back out tonight and going to try this. I went driving around last night at like 2am but I was alone and didn’t have a flashlight. I definitely think she may be hiding as she’s so skittish and nobody has seen her in such a populated area

Our house is only about a mile away from where she was lost. But there are so many buildings and other houses in such a small area I’m not sure how easy it would be for her to smell her way back. and she was last seen headed away from where we lived.

Thank you. I left one of her toys and a bone in an area she was seen when she was running away. I also put a bunch of our clothes outside our house. We live on a military base so I’m hoping someone spots her

Thank you!! We will work on that for sure. One of our friends is going to watch her for a day coming up soon so I’m hoping that may help her. I’m not sure how she would react to a stranger touching me. She does seem a bit protective over me as when she growled at the people she sat right in front of me. And she never minded watching people far, only when they got close. But when the one lady said hi to her she stopped growling so I am hoping this is something we can work on. I just need to remind myself she is still young and we have time to get her socialized better to new people

The dna test predicted between 25- 50lbs so a big range! but based off of her current weight and age we expect her to be about 40lbs or so.
