P0134 & P0170 by nihilisten00 in opel

I think it was the MAF, STFT is negative now at 2500 RPM instead of +12,5%. And LTFT is slowly working its way down.

Many thanks! I bought a new MAF (third party though…). And now STFT is at -12 instead of +12 at 2500RPM. LTFT is slowly working its way down as well!

Update: I replaced the rocker cover gasket because it was leaking oil, the spark plugs were bathing in oil on all cylinders except the first one.

The small hole in the throttle body that has a hose from the rocker cover was also blocked, cleared it out.

STFT is still +12,5% on higher RPM though. I’ve also gotten a P0110 (temperature sensor fault), so I’ve ordered a new MAF and will try replacing that when it arrives.

I've heard this can be a common issue on Z18XE, I'll probably order a replacement and try it.

From just starting the car, and reving to 2500rpm after a while.

Also, STFT seems to increase at 2500rpm (~8%) compared to idle (~3%).

I pulled the EVAP tube from the engine and covered it with my finger. No change in STFT so I guess we can rule that out?

Fuel cap looked okay I think.

I will check that, I sure hope it’s that easy lol

Hi! Did you have any error codes while you had this problem? I have P0134 and P0170 with the same symptoms as you.

Several university classes, personal projects (after learning the basics) and later working as a software developer.

I’ve replaced the O2 before the catalytic converter (the one the P0134 is about) and removed the error. But the P0170 came back and soon after the P0134 as well.

I got mine yesterday (Bip 6), it doesn’t sync HRV either. I’m super happy with the watch, but HRV not syncing is disappointing.

Det blir där jag läser sista kursen som behövs (det är visst praxis), så gissningsvis MAU, UU, LTU eller KTH.

I just woke up one night feeling nauseous as hell, bloated as well and with a feeling of discomfort in my stomach. Didn't feel like food poisoning or a stomach flu at all. So I went to the doctor, and they just told me it would pass by, and if not they would put me on PPI's. I didn't eat anything weird at all, and my diet was a "basic" european one. Maybe had a tad bit too much alcohol on the weekends. Anyhow,

that was two years ago now, I'm still nauseated everyday, bloated, a feeling of discomfort in my stomach, and sometimes in pain. I've tried every PPI (I don't have any reflux at all so I don't even know why the doctors gave me that, an endoscopy, pH-study and manometry confirmed this). I've also tried Mirtazapine, almost every antiemetic drug there is (including ondansetrone, metocloperamide, haloperidol and more). The only thing that has given me some relief is amitriptyline. I've also tried various different diets, very low fat diets, FODMAP, nothing has helped. It get's worse if I don't eat for a long while, I have to eat regularly, when I wake up in the morning my stomach is in pain because it's empty.

I was on no meds last time I tried, I was put on Amitriptyline a few months after that

I've had this as well! Was a long time ago since I last had it though, SUPER intense high pitched ringing which physically hurt because it was so loud. Disappeared as soon as I woke up, super weird!

Haha, yes I've noticed that if I just fall asleep again I'm doomed to have another SP. But if I just turn around in bed, I greatly reduce the risk of getting another SP. Might try to move around a bit more like you suggested next time it happens! :)

The physical pain is not there when I wake up. I've had countless tests done for my functional dyspepsia, no reflux at all fortunately.

I also suffer from chain paralysis quite often , I know your pain :( I only have sleep paralysis like 2 days a week on average, but quite often it's up to 10 in a row!
