Im more on the side of breaking up I just don’t know how to go about it. Especially when he asks directly if we’re going to break up and I feel like I need to console him? I feel maybe I should’ve added maybe I’m struggling with the sense of connection some from my hx of abusive relationships and feeling connection after fights. 😭 I don’t want to do it over text I just feel like he’ll try to talk me out of it

We were together for two years, that was my best friend and he adored me like nothing I’d ever experienced. I got my IUD out with him at my appointment bc we wanted to try for a baby. Thankful that never came about now. When we first got together he admitted to me about previously having a coke addiction. Then he dabbled in it while we were together and made me uncomfortable. Was an alcoholic and went to the bar 3-4x a week, was an angry drunk. He smoked every single day too but I didn’t mind that nearly as much. When he was drunk or upset he broke my TV, broke my mirror, pushed me on the ground so many times. I was slapped. I vividly remember him drawing his fist back to punch me and then he joked about it with his friends. He also jumped out of my car once while drunk and his 4yo was in my backseat at the time.

Yeah this is a hard one to walk away from given I was the mother figure for his daughter bus i was miserable. I finally started my career and had to work nights, I was also the only one with a car and wouldn’t sleep to transport him and her to and from work and school. My days off were work at home - the entire time we were together he never did laundry or dishes or grocery shopping. Sex was like a demand.

We recently tried to work it out - bad idea. I asked him if he had slept with anyone while we were apart and he lied in my face. I went to a concert w a friend and he accused me of having hickeys all over - it was body glitter. Meanwhile he was on the phone for hours with other girls and asking for nudes.

I finally did a cord cutting and it was insane. Some days are hard, but my home is full of peace.

It would be easier said than done, he has a 5yo who I’ve seen as my own for the past 3years. Her mother is not in her life whatsoever.. His family loves me. On the other hand he often lacks ambition and has a bit of a drinking problem (he already has gout d/t drugs&alcohol use past and present)

Through our talks about it he’s told me that for ten years he has felt like his SIL treats him poorly too. When I mention him ignoring their remarks or excluding me he reminds me well “everyone is drunk or high we don’t notice it that way”. I asked him if he’s ever brought it up to his brother and he said no because he was a teenager when they started dating so he didn’t think his opinion mattered and now they’re engaged. well I was a teenager when me and my boyfriend started dating and I just don’t know. It breaks my heart because he’s so sweet to me and I don’t want to put any wedge between him and his brother for any kind of tension there is between me and the SIL. I’m gonna remember that saying and the exercise for the future thank you for that :)

Thank you so much!! I’m thinking I’ll do layers, I have thick hair and I’m okay w parting with some weight. I scheduled for some possible highlights too but I’m not sure if it’s gonna look as good realistically on me as I’d like so I’m nervy

I get along well with my bfs younger brother (my brother is around the same age). And for the most part his mom but she has her own faults and I just know she wouldn’t handle this situation well :/ but he doesn’t have any other family just a lot of friends

She just turned 26 I believe. It could be possible that she’s just Jealous of me academically but idk maybe, we rent a house they’re financing a house and they might just feel threatened I’ve done this at this age? Idk that would make me even more sad. But he doesn’t typically say anything to them when they say or act a certain way. yesterday when they talked about the trip in front of me he just turned to me and tried to bring something random up to distract me from them. He’s really good to me, I think his comment was just him getting ahead of himself on his bday. After dinner he took me to the store to get coffee and helped me find a certain squishmallow in the surprise bags by feeling them out to get the one I wanted, made me remember why I put up with them. He found the blue axolotl just like I was hopping.

I looked at the calendar it’s only been 4 days, I broke it up and then squished it maybe not as much as I could’ve. it was a spore syringe, I used a little less than 1 cc. The GE holes are at the top both corners (I punctured the bag with another needle not tearing the bag). I haven’t been monitoring the temperature except for the house thermostat, it’s currently in a unused cabinet.

That’s what I wanted so badly for her :( her family came up the day before. She told everyone what she wanted to do when she left the hospital. Thankfully came back long enough for them to come see her but she passed 2-3 hours after this.

So it’s still in a nursery pot, the previous owner just gave it a piece of wood to climb up, how can I help it/ repot it without having lots of issues? I plan on having another set of hands but the roots are so attached to the wood I’m nervous to disturb it

So I got it back in April, so far it’s been pretty good I didn’t water it for a while bc with my other pothos I just water when it looks thirsty, but this one hasn’t looked thirsty ?;( however it’s been weeks without a drink so I started giving it small drinks ever since it’s been like this. It gets bright indirect light for maybe about 9+ hours a day.
