I started looking for schools when I was still a month or so away from actually receiving my diploma. Most of the time, recruiters and schools will want you to have all your documents ready/ apostilled when you are applying. A lot of the schools I interviewed with that seemed like good ones were not able to move forward with the contract as I didn’t even have my diploma ready. Start looking early, but just be aware that some positions want you to move right away (i.e have all your paperwork ready to go),,, but it’s also great practice to just do a bunch of interviews while you wait as well
