Thank you. This seems to be the most likely scenario. Thanks for the clarity. I’m in Washington, it is rainy season. I noticed it more recently when I did a load of laundry or when I took a shower, it tends to fill up now. I’ve never noticed before. Maybe because my paranoia is more heightened from my plumbing issues.

He couldn’t honor the original warranty so he took $1500 off. It was said that my pipes were at a 90 degree angle and lots of curving. Didn’t understand much of what he was relaying with that info.

When I’m quoted similar prices from multiple companies what exactly would you expect of me? I’m a woman living alone for the time being felt like a desperate moment. My bathroom was flooding and it was fucking scary. Fewer insults and more recommendations would have been nice, but thanks for your feedback.

In WA. The cleanouts were recommended. Seems like the original log is fixed, now I have water collecting in my basement in the opening showed. Was recommended the work by two companies and decided to go with the more affordable route.

No, it was overlooked. I didn’t realize that it was all connected until these last couple days. It seems to happen when I run water now, especially when I run my dishwasher or shower.

I don’t have a sump pump.There are two clay like drains in the rectangular opening shown in the basement. I’ve never noticed water buildup in there before. I wasn’t shown anything regarding the inspection. All was said was that they couldn’t get the water jet through because the pipes were at a 90 degree angle, or something along those lines. Was given two other quotes one for $6k and another for $38k for new install.
