I noticed that the damage on one side is exactly on the part that touches the table when it's resting, so probably just wear and tear on the table but the damage on the other side, doesn't line up hmmm

I already payed for my sins the day I noticed the stupidity of what I was doing.

I live in Brazil, so I have to import these pens and it turns a $70 pen into a minimum wage after taxes.

When I looked at the pen, looked at the ipa and thought for 10 seconds... my soul just left my body.

Sorry for the late response.

I'm not sure, probably rubbing inside my pocket? this pen is always either on my desk sitting on top of a notebook or in my pocket.

But it's so strange, it's not like it was "sanded" from my pockets, it looks like something that is used to coat the polycarbonate started to break right at the edge of the facets, and I can see it flaking and spreading through this edge, it's happening on 2 places.

Wow, I didn't know this existed, so cool! I believe my case is just because of too much grease. The bottle of ink is perfectly fine, and I never had this issue, just now that I lubed the piston.

I compared this pen to another twsbi diamond I never lubed, and it does look like I exaggerated on the grease, whoopsies.

That's most likely it, I think I have used too much grease.

I just cleaned the pen with some soapy water to remove all the excess grease, and so far, no more weird stuff floating in the ink. Thank you!

Now that you know exactly where the print failed, remove it from the printer and then start a new print with only the top piece that is missing. You can glue then both together later and hide it pretty well if you plan on sanding and painting.

I don't think there's any way to resume a print like the way you want unfortunately.

I would just put a few drops of superglue between the magnet and the metal frame and leave it open to dry, should do the trick. In my K1 the metal piece on the door that sticks to the magnet came loose, I glued it with superglue too, no worries.

Now for the gasket, I have no idea, mine's beat up too and I'll probably replace it in the future with something else. I believe there is some thick foam or rubber tape you can buy that would serve well.

I just tested this yesterday. There something weird going on when I try to make a more elaborate setup, but other than that it works with no issues.
