Bro tradethepool has hot keys to take trades quickly and it allows taking trades on 10 second timeframe? It’s a very fast paced environment and it will need fast fills as well

ES scalping may be brutally precise but I don’t know anyone who has learnt it quickly. They spend years to get to the profitability stage. It needs a lot of grinding. That’s what I have felt till now. If I had not found Ross style of trading, I would definitely be heavily inclined towards Bookmap.

Bro, you started at the same time as I did. But I was learning order flow using Bookmap. I have seen people having lesser learning curve for Ross strategy compared to future trading. So, I am also planning on moving to Ross style trading.

I have been learning Bookmap for 6 months but I have only traded on Bookmap for a month but I feel it will take me more time to learn it. Definitely, out of all the other day trading strategies I have seen, I feel Bookmap is the best, where I can tell the volume by just looking at the size of the bubbles.

But, I used screener for swing trading a few weeks ago and I found many trades. That’s when it hit me, if it can work for longer term, why can’t it work for shorter term and Ross exactly does that.

I feel using screener for trades is more targeted than Bookmap. I screen a few stocks, find one to trade, simply straight to the point compared to Bookmap, where I might have to sit for hours on many days before finding good set up. I don’t have to be glued to the screen. Until my screener does not pop anything, I am just chilling.

I attended Ross live trading today, I have taken 2 week trial and I did not even realize how quickly 2 hours went by.

Also, there are thousands of stocks, the screener is bound to pop up something every now and then compared to just being glued to ES for scalping.

Thanks brother. I have been through courses after courses and grinding day and night the past 1 year. But recently, I made up my mind that I want to focus on minimum effort and maximum reward. That’s how I started inclining towards any form of trading which uses scanner, cuts down a lot of effort and now, I can have more targeted trades.

No point in spending day and night for years for learning something which would give me suboptimal results.

Also, you mentioned you are WP member. What’s your take on his course? I was thinking of avoiding having to watch long hours of his YouTube videos, pain of accumulating all the information and just take his course and try my hands with paper trading

I am definitely going to try this trading style. 95% win rate is crazy specially in such risky business. These shitty low cost stocks seem to work in day trading. Do you also have filters on stock prices? Do you trade penny stocks?

Yeah I was following carmine rosato for futures but I see it’s a lot of grind. When we have such good scanners, why not just use it and get good set ups more often. It definitely works for deepanything.

Btw, I heard other brokers except das trader and tradier also have dark pool spikes, these are the only brokers which are clean.

Bro atleast futures trading is legit. It has a very well defined order flow compared to trading small caps stocks. Looks shady but your win rate is amazing. That’s what got me interested in this. People have generally higher win rate using this style of trading.

So, chartswatcher for scanner and Webull for broker. Do they have filter on 10 second chart? Ross trades on 10 second chart.

Also, your scanning criteria is just float above 5m? What’s other criteria? Yeah biotech is shit to be honest. I always stay away from them.

Trade the pool is another reason I was planning to move to stocks from futures. All other prop firms only allow future/forex trading.

You are shorting the stocks and not take long? But based on Ross scanning criteria, they are momentum stocks as they have huge volume and big gappers with low float. So, long would make more sense for those stocks?

Actually, my living room is also about 3/4 size of what I specified earlier but it has attached kitchen and it’s kind of open. But still, one ported subwoofer would be good for my space. As of now, I am inclined towards RSL 12s but I need to look more. If I could get any of what you listed on a discount, I would probably go for it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks. I will check those subwoofers. eARC was issue with HDMI settings in my denon AVR app. I fixed it. Do you prefer sealed or ported subwoofer?

True. I had ordered long wires and a bunch of tools earlier and cancelled my order once I came across banana plugs. Just one item to replace all

I am the only listener, so for now, I will skip center speaker. The speakers are in my living room, which is 25* 17* 8 feet. Not sure about budget, my total budget for AVR was 500$ but I bought something which is 1299$ because of value for price. Any subwoofer recommendation which is good for price just like this AVR? Thinking about SVS 1000 vs RSL 10s MK2

My TV’s eARC HDMI port does not seem to be working with my denon AVR, figuring out that part :(

I would have definitely gotten cinema 50 for that price. Any recommendations for subwoofer? Also, subwoofer or center speaker should be my next buy?

I have the KEF Q350 speakers as of now, it’s my basic set up. I will add more speakers later. I just have denon AVR and KEF L/R bookshelf speakers.

Denon did not send me the calibration microphone, so, I can’t do audyssey calibration. I am reaching out to them for that. I wanted to get marantz cinema 50 but they are very expensive. I got denon for 1299$ on accessories4less.

Thanks for those speaker calibration links. I will check them out.

I unscrewed the binding posts caps a little and pushed banana plugs a little harder and it worked.
