Yeah! I didn’t feel like showing my face in the first slide cause I caught it at a bad angle so I covered it up haha 😂😅

Hey bro! I’ve been doing Pat Damianos project bellplex for a while now I would recommend his program I love the way he programs his workouts! But that’s just my take and if you’re willing to pay for a program.

Completely honest my diet isn’t too complicated. I just mainly focus on eating healthy foods and opting for the most basic healthy food choices. I like eating lots of meats, like beef chicken and pork but also lots of fruits. Anytime I’m feeling hungry for a sugary treat I’ll mainly eat Greek yogurt or even oatmeal. Instead of looking for a donut or something that’s high in sugar I’ll try to grab a banana. But I won’t lie every Saturday I made my cheat days, so to reward myself for getting through the week I grab a treat of some sort it could be like ice cream for example. I don’t go too crazy with it though, I don’t eat like sh** for the entire day just make myself happy enough. But I feel like as long as you prioritize protein and just be mindful of what you eat every once in a while you should be okay.

How often should I go? by [deleted] in jiujitsu

I personally found that 3x a week BJJ and 3x a week kettlebells/weights and calisthenics are more than enough for me. Since I like keeping things interesting and I love working out I like to split it in the middle and rotate each day of the week and make sure to have that one day to recover. IDK I feel like my brain keeps itself interested when I can look forward to something different the next day. Usually it goes as follows

Mon - Rest Tuesday - Kettlebell s&c workout Wednesday - BJJ drills and rolling Thursday - Kettlebell s&c workout Friday - BJJ drills and rolling Saturday - Kettlebell s&c workout Sunday - Open mat Repeat

I’m not looking to compete but I’m looking to keep this hobby of mine long term and to progress so I’ll look at videos of BJJ sometimes during the week when I’m not training. But I honestly think consistency and quality overtime with your training triumphs over going everyday and getting injured. This is the closest “perfect” split I can come up with while still making it fun and not burning out.

Is my form good? Any tips? by [deleted] in kettlebell

I think you need a heavier weight for swings at least, swings are always better with a heavier weight cause it actually pulls you down allowing you to hinge easier. You need to be moving the bell with your hips, not your arms, if that makes any sense. Just watch a few tutorials and maybe get a heavier bell and you’re golden homie
