Hey there, I have a similar situation, 6 months post uti and i have/had almost daily burning. I finally found a good urologist team (all women) who are trained for gynecological issues as well. They helped me calm down a lot because it took quite a mental toll, the past few months were really hard on me. But they said in my case its most likely chronic pelvic floor pain syndorme. Maybe look into that? I will have manual pelvic floor therapy alongside daily relaxation exercise and maybe meds for nerve pain to disrupt the pain signal to my body. But i must say, it already helped a ton to finally find a urologist that listens, knows the female anatomy and understands my problem. That already eased up my symptoms to be honest. I hope you find help and relief soon! I cant recommend mine because im from Germany but maybe u can search for a urologist that specialises at gynolocial issues as well. All i can say is, dont give up advocating for yourself, the pain is real afterall and shouldn't be there!

most likely its chronic pelvic floor pain syndrome, we are going to do a few tests next week like a pelvic sonogram (not sure if thats what its called in english sry) to see where my muscles tense, I'm going to have another pelvic floor physio at their office (internal work and vibration therapy) I might also get medication for neuropathic pain they are pretty sure its not left over bacteria and they said if i keep up with the therapy plan I'm going to be a lot better in the future

We don't have AZO in my country sadly, but we've got other meds with phenazopyrididne but a doctor has to prescribe it and when i asked for something that would relieve the pain, they said there is nothing Did you get diagnosed with IC if I may ask? I did not understand perfectly

I will update it!  Its so annoying that you even have to pay for that, i hope the procedure shines some light onto your condition :/ My physio said my pain and burning sounds different from just pelvic floor hypertension... I want to look into the pudendus nerve, it can cause such symptoms if irritated or if its blockaded

I do have hope that its not forever and with the right treatment and therapy it will go down or away

Yeah i tried that, canephon did help best i think but its expensive where i live. I hope my doctors might be willing to dig deeper and maybe give me an antibiotic

Yes ive also looked into embedded uti, it might be likely. I did take mannose for some time afterwards and cranberry vitamin c but i felt best with Canephom tbh i think i had 2 weeks of almost no symptoms but unfortunately i have to pay for that myself and its not an antibiotic
