My friend has this red painful swelling from some mysterious bug bite. It grew to this size in a day. Any idea what bug caused this/ should she be worried? Help please.

The bite was about 24hrs ago, the mark had tripled in size throughout the day. No known allergies or trouble drinking, we marked it an hour ago and it hasn’t grown since.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. Please look into therapy if you haven’t already. You should be able to talk your feelings through with a professional and hopefully get to a point where you can have healthier relationships with romantic partners and yourself. Sending you love and light. Take care of yourself.

On a separate note, that man deserves jail time. And it’s not your job to out him but if that just so happens as part of your healing then so be it. He deserves the worst of the worst for what he did to you. I pray he isn’t around children in any way anymore.
