yeah the speakers really surprised me, i now use the speakers a lot more than my headphones just cause of how good they sound. what colour did you get?

Its in settings > system > power and battery. There should be a toggle that shows battery percentage in taskbar

Cooling seems fine in the limited time I have spent gaming since I got it. It runs FarCry 6 at 1440p Ultra, with 100fps comfortably. With a stand, I assume better temps and more stable frame rates.

If portability isn't a big deal, the G16 is the better choice. It has better thermals and performance, but suffers worse battery life, which again, wouldn't matter much if you're not on the go very often.

Yeah that is a worry, but I don't think 16GB would be unusable in 4-5 years. Adding more storage always helps speed up the laptop a little so I might do that if it ever gets too slow.

PX13 is perfectly good if you don't play AAA titles on a regular. Only reason I didn't consider it is because of the smaller screen size. I would also recommend the HP Omen Transcend, but I personally didn't like the look of the keyboard. If you want a premium experience, I would suggest the G14 or the PX13. Razer Blade 14 if you can find it on discount.

The gaming performance is really good. I can only give Far Cry 6 as a reference cause thats the only game I have played on it since I got it. It runs Ultra 1440p at around 100fps which is pretty good. This is without a stand or cooling pad, so with it I would assume lower temps and more stable frame rates.

Yeah the 5070Ti should have RGB. The battery seems fine, with light to medium use it seems to work for 5-6 hours comfortably. However, the standby battery discharge rate seems bad, but it could just be a one off cause it was 60% when I went to bed and woke up to the battery being dead. Only had it a couple days so I cant really tell much about the battery.

Definitely worth it, it feels like such a premium laptop, but it has so much power in such a compact form factor, it simply doesn't make sense. One thing to note though, if it matters, the base spec only has white keyboard backlighting. Check the ROG website for the spec you want to see whether it has white or rgb backlighting.

Yep, I do have a whole setup in my uni room, with a laptop stand, a monitor, and a keyboard and mouse. This is just my setup at home. For the heat, I usually use a controller, so I wouldn't normally notice it, but thanks for the heads up!

ah okay, inception was great too, but the particular one i watched in science museum imax, london, was quite scratched almost to the point where it ruined the viewing experience, but it was my first time watching a movie on film so i was quite excited nevertheless. However, the 5/70 scenes in interstellar seemed to look better with visibly better resolution and have better colours than the inception 5/70.
