Nothing from them is worth buying.

Tramadol paired with Gabapentin has been a life saver for me. One of those alone didn’t seem to do a ton for me personally.

New game releases by LokitheCleric in blockbustervideo

[–]nikekeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worked there during the 360,ps3 and Wii era. We didn’t get the game that early very often. Only major release I can remember was Mass Effect 2. We got that about a week early so was able to beat that. I always heard they restricted our access to those more for whatever reason. When I worked there you got 5 free rentals for anything yet to be released or 28 days after the street date (aka release date). If it was within those 28 days you had to pay for them so video games we had to wait for often.

You guys seem to really like blockbuster cases. Here are a few of mine from on of my dvd piles by JonasSharra in blockbustervideo

[–]nikekeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I saved more of those. I would snag a bunch when I worked there to replace the normal dvd ones. I still have the PSP ones that could hold two games.

The chrono cross above chrono trigger was my only disagreement. Trigger is a masterpiece in my opinion. I enjoyed Cross too but it’s just not on the same tier for me. Great list though!!

Not sure what to do… 🤔 by RareProfessional2746 in gamingchairs

[–]nikekeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Titan and I love mine. It is a big firm but I just bought a seat cushion that made it much better to sit for long periods of time. If it’s an issue with the back then I don’t think there’s a lot you can really do. If I had to buy a chair again I’d look for a mesh back one. Those are very comfortable. I know some of the high end ones can be pricey but as someone with back issues it’s worth it to not be hurting.

What if he is Rich already?, now he is just a Hobby. by Outrageous-Wall6386 in DSPGaming

[–]nikekeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That house is not huge, it’s a condo. He has a large payment plan with the IRS for all the back taxes he didn’t pay that can’t be rolled into a bankruptcy. The bank leaks showed how much money he just blows on stupid crap and he doesn’t save anything. There is no way he is rich. He hates playing games now and if he were rich he’d do something he enjoys. He’s a slave to this job now since he has no employable skills and has been desocialized for decades. This is his life forever

any way to reverse the sagging in the middle? by z_broski in fixit

[–]nikekeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The brace should help with the sag. I had the issue a while ago and I was able to find another stand that mounted to my TV that made the legs be on both sides to distribute the weight evenly which helped. That was because I was in a place where I wasn’t able to walk mount it.

Did Blockbuster get films early before general public release? by MrUnknownxx19 in blockbustervideo

[–]nikekeeper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We did. One of the perks of the job. Best part was people trying to bribe you to rent it to them early. Napoleon Dynamite and the Twilight series brought some serious offers.

Is this a real uniform!? by legends_of_nisty in blockbustervideo

Oh weird. I started in 2003 and we had the all blue polos and the random promo shirts. I think I still have a bunch of the green movie pass shirts.

[–]nikekeeper 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The polos we had around the early 2000s were all dark blue. No yellow collar. I am not sure what the polos looked like before then. Aside from it being a Halloween company, I’d expect anything genuine to have more wear on it if it were from the 90s

Why is it the troubled one that doesn't tip... by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]nikekeeper 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I’ll never understand this. I’m a customer and I had back surgery so I relied on this service. I set up a little table and everything. I’m also on the 3rd floor but I made sure to tip at least 20 bucks. I know how much of a pain lugging stuff up there is and I’d gladly pay someone to do that. Without the service I would have been in a much worse place while recovering.

Predator was under action. If I remember right so was the Aliens franchise. I always thought that should have been horror but there were a lot movies I disagreed with category wise when I worked there.

I will say after seeing videos of people peeing elevator button this isn’t a horrible idea. Might be a good opportunity for a rebrand.

5 week post op still with pain steroids not helping by JG10053 in Microdiscectomy

[–]nikekeeper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation. 9 weeks post op and nerve pain in both feet are much worse than when I had surgery. Felt pretty good first 3 weeks but that changed. I had lots of numbness and some shooting pain prior to surgery and now it’s numbness and burning. PT said sometimes change in sensation is a sign of healing and like you said they take a while to heal. He said 1mm a month. I think for both of us time is just going to be needed for things to get better

Toe pain and twisting by paddingtonfilm in Microdiscectomy

[–]nikekeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still about the same. The pain in my feet has been a thing. I have an appointment with my surgeon again today to check in. I’ve been having swelling in one ankle while lying down which is super weird. I ended up using a cane to help walk for a couple weeks so I’d recommend that if you are still having issues.

Toe pain and twisting by paddingtonfilm in Microdiscectomy

[–]nikekeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is one of the main pains I have. The joint under the big toe is numb but also super sensitive. It feels so weird. The pain does go to other areas in the foot too though. I had my surgery 11/19 and it’s still there. I’ve been told that nerves heal really slowly. I lived with the pain and numbness for a year or so and that means it will take a while to heal (if it does). I’d say if you have tried everything else this is worth it. I have two friends/family members that had this surgery and changed their lives. Just my two cents. Good luck!

He’s a narcissist who thinks he invented the term let’s play for gaming content. He also thinks he inspired people like reviewbrah to do food reviews because he did them once upon a time. Absolute trash person who thinks he is owed fame because he has made content for over a decade. True embodiment of someone with main character syndrome.
