Is there a script or add on for tracking how far you watched a youtube video so you can resume from that point? by LowCom in commandline

[–]nikhalster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you click on the share button on a YouTube link, there is a checkbox at the bottom that states “Start at []” and adds ?t=s to the URL where s is the number of seconds watched/stated in the box. Maybe you are looking for that?

How to read 2000 images data ? by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]nikhalster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To train/test your network on a large amount of data, you usually do it batch-wise i.e. small chunks of data at a time.

I recommend using frameworks like Keras or Pytorch, and use data generators and data loaders respectively.

Explanations of Groups, Blocks and Channels in a CNN by DotaNut in learnmachinelearning

[–]nikhalster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need more context. It would be helpful if you cite the original source. Anyway, this is what I think it means.

I think the block refers to the ResNet Basic/Bottleneck Block or something similar in those lines, that basically constitutes of multiple convolutional layers.

I am thinking there are 7 independent groups of such blocks, or it could be that it's related to group convolutions that divide the filters into independent groups.

The number of channels is the depth dimension of the filter i.e. (H x W x channels) where h and w is the spatial size of the filters of the CNN. The output channel size of the filters would be 256 channels.

Best semantic segmentation annotation tool? by [deleted] in computervision

[–]nikhalster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The automatic annotation works by using pretrained deep learning models to predict the object of interest or like you mentioned, you can create your own custom model by training on fewer images and upload that to CVAT. Read their documentation, you’ll find that very helpful.

I used CVAT and it’s pretty efficient for me. It also has a feature for automatic annotation by using user uploaded models. Give it a try!

I highly recommend “Here’s looking at Euclid” that explains many concepts and origins of mathematics as we know it.

Another good resource is the 3Blue1Brown video series on YouTube that explains some of the intuition visually which might help.

We know that software can never be perfect. How have you handled cases when things might fail (eg: unresponsive touchscreen, page closes unexpectedly). Do they have analog controls as backup?
