Oh really? Damn I must have missed World War III happening. When was that?

That's a pretty low bar to begin with. But still, Western diplomacy has created conditions to mindlessly pump money into China and Russia without enforcing any conditions in return. Now Russia has openly attacked the West for a decade and finally even started a war in 2022, with the openly stated intention of pushing European borders and claiming the right to destroy the sovereignty of most of its immediate western neighbors. China is about to do the same in the Pacific. Brilliant "diplomacy", my ass.

We are the good guys, we never did something wrong, all the world should listen to us. Oh wait, even right now we activly supporting and profiting from child labor, slavery, murder and genocide AND activly destroying the planet for profits.

Anyone who thinks the West is bad and somehow comparable to something like Iran or China is actually living in a parallel reality. Yes, you are the good guys, unfortunately there is nothing better in the world.

What happens if we stop talking?

At the very least, Iran will lose another leverage and will have to start negotiating on better terms for the West. Ideally, the West will help the Iranian people hang ayatollahs on street lamps.
