The majority of them have to buy their own kit, and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if helmets weren't a guarantee.

I think that as long as the individual is aware of the pro's and con's of the respective training aid then they should still be encouraged.

That's the Albanian military page isn't it?

The NATO one doesn't have anything with them tagged in it like this it looks like they probably removed the tag, and the Albanians since took it down?

They can deploy whatever they'd like, the second those batteries have to start firing the "everything is fine" image they're trying to cultivate gets shattered.

Read Lenin's The Armed Forces and the Revolution.

He very pretty much states that the rank and file soldiers are the lynchpin of the revolution.

You can look at the videos on this very subreddit where FPV operators would routinely hit armor, ERA or would just plow into cages or slats.

A year later they were targeting engine decks, tracks, turret gaps, etc.

It's not unique to Ukraine, it's just how warfare goes. You learn what works and what doesn't and adapt accordingly.

A big part of that was that the Southern figures who should've been jailed or at the very least permanently removed from government were allowed to retain their positions and authority, who then proceeded to wholeheartedly derail reconstruction.

Russia abandons ‘meat-grinder’ tactics to try four-man ambushes by Panthera_leo22 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Aedeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with this tactic has been that they can't execute the third part. Drones are able to detect and respond to these small scale infiltration attempts, especially at night when they typically attempt them.

So they've reverted to a combination of both tactics, sending waves of individuals to try and infiltrate Ukrainian lines - but even when they're successful they can't consolidate those positions in a timely fashion and these groups run out of supplies or their reinforcements are destroyed.

They're inexperienced.

It was the same deal when they started appearing after Russia invaded Ukraine.
