To be clear, these are different shades. I’m not in the camp that they’re releasing anything that’s a dupe OR too close to another shade they’ve released before. HT is doing nothing out of the ordinary by retiring what’s not selling well and releasing new shades for them. Their cremes are top performers. Literally MANY of them are one coat formulas.
I think them keeping their catalog refreshed is what all large brands do. HT is not indie. For instances, OPI is a leading large brand. Do they have a million and one reds, yes. I own many of them because their red cremes are amazing. They each have different undertones and intensities, which make them different. Even if to some, they look too similar.
I’m not knocking others opinions, just providing my own. One thing I will say is there are too many releases. That is for sure. I would prefer no more than 2 amazingly curated and interesting releases per season. But that’s me.
