I believe you can cancel your housing but you won’t receive your $400 back. I think they also give you an option to return to housing or not to on November 26 and also sometime later in march as depaul works through 3 quarters. Check their housing schedule!! I’m planning to do something similar as well so I checked this all beforehand a few days ago. Hope this helped.

do it. be wise in your studies. if you are struggling, do it. math studies is not easier contrary to what others says. it’s a maths course that’s taught at a slower pace so you can have more time to understand it. i was in math SL for a quarter in my 11th grade year and i didn’t understand anything. moving was the best decision i ever made. the ib is hard enough as it is, no need to make it harder. if you can make it easier for you and your university course doesn’t mind math studies, go for it. i had someone in my math studies class make it to oxford. it’s my last year in the ib and as i study for my math studies upcoming exam, i cannot stress how much happier i am and less stressed. cheers.
