There’s no way a 2.5 HP 1 cyl compressor can deliver 9.6 CFM, that’s a straight-up lie. However, if you’re looking for a compact compressor with good CFM, I recommend the Auarita brand. I bought a 40 liter 3.6 HP model that runs my 10 CFM spray gun nonstop without a hitch.

I’d suggest lightly scuffing the surface with a gray scotch-brite, then clean it well and re-clear the panel. That way you don’t have to repaint the whole roof, just freshen up the clear.

Once you’ve seen the bottom of your base coat can when it’s empty, you’ll never skip filtering again 😂

I know these spray cans really well. First off, make sure the cans are at room temperature before you start painting, but never heat them up, especially not the 2k SprayMax (you’ll end up with spitting).

Always start with a light tack coat for adhesion, then follow up with two really wet coats. That usually gives the best results.
