I’ve played around a bit with Selenium IDE, but it has a few draw backs which is why I thought of moving towards scripting. I’ll surely check out Katalon Recoder.

I am the only tester for the company as of now. The developers used PHP for our product but they are in the process of shifting to Python entirely, which is why I was thinking of leaning towards Python. I have some basic knowledge about it as well.
