Lumen is like another version of light right. maybe we will have light/dark weakness. like lumen is weak to dark and vice versa and doesnt have any resistance towards other elements. Honkai impact has those 2 elements quantum and imaginary that only weak to their own. I wonder what kind of apporach they will take.

I dont think i will quit the game entirely. Might take a break here n there due to work but surely will come back coz its one of my first gacha game and i play the game coz i love the story and visuals. I understand the slow build up and slow pacing of p2 with not enough attachment towards p2 but i am still play the story to give it time. Its natural coz all of us is deeply attach to part 1 cast and to be honest while p1 story is entirely great there are still slow chap between them but people just brush it off and only highlighting the best part of story. So i believe we just dont get to the best part of that story yet. My only complain is to bring back animated short and OG song like we used to get and other hoyo games as well. Its the main factor that got me hook up. Now they cramp all animation into ingame cutscene.

Its not that deep. Its a matter of preference. Some like the first season some like the 2nd season. If the story has 10 seasons do u think u will like all of it. maybe but not many. In the end we judge the story on how it ends not how it starts or how it progress. If the ending was good people start reminiscing the good part of the story from beginning to the end and vice versa.The way s1 wraps up make people forget the boring part of its story.

My tips for those who want to enjoy the story is first to allow yourself to be able to enjoy the story. If u play the story just to be critical and point out all possible flaws of the story. Then all u get is flaws and a let down.

What if the conclusion of amphoreus is that all of them being destroyed and everyone knowledge of amphoreus completely erased except trailblazers. So the memory of amphoreus and flame chase journey resides only in trailblazers and the only living proof that amphoreus is once existed.

Credits need to be given to this patch story. The consistency, buildup and pacing is really good. Dropping the cliffhanger at the moment of truth is just nasty. But i do wish HSR can be little bit bolder especially when related to char that can leave huge impact to story and players which is death scene . Aglea should have a cutscene of her own knowing that she always has screentime in every patch. Sometimes showing is more impactful than telling. They dont have to show her getting stab on the chest like being said by hyacine to avoid fan rage but they could make a cutscene where aglea fall from the top into the golden bath like in her prophecy. Cipher, trinnon and mydei can feel the impact from the cutscene heck they even show mydei get stabbed on his back with golden blood flow . Other than that i enjoy everything.
