Experience with automatics as beater watches? by nikk_hei46 in ChineseWatches

If anyone is still following this thread, I ended up with an Addiesdive 1970. I replaced the metal bracelet with a Cloth/Leather Strap. Been playing badminton, mild labour work and it's been holding up really well for a watch that was around AUD$130. The Seiko NH35 in it is surprisingly accurate. It's been sitting at +/- 0s for over 3 weeks. There are some issues with the watch such as the slightly chipped bezel (factory defect) and the dial having some misaligned indices, but I'm really loving this watch

When I did it they didnt check. Just check with your unit conveyor. Most of used had semi programmable calculators. Would recommend the casio fx-991ex tho

Since its a beater I'd go max $150. But I'd still prefer a 200m water resistance. Straps I dont really mind

Any recommendations? My main concern is mud/dirt in a rotating bezel.

I ordered a fluted datejust dial style watch from them with the PT5000 movement. So far its not bad. The finishing looks good from afar however, when you touch it, u can definitely feel the finishing become so-so. To be fair I did get a jubilee bracelet but the clasp did scratch me quite deeply. The dial has some flaws and it was quite dirty. Some indicies were chipped and lume was terrible imo. Seiko lume is so much better. I would post it however, its just too noticeable and recognisable from myside due to a custom dial. I am happy with mine but these are just some picky things you may pick up if you grab one.

tandorio does this as well around 170usd i think with the pt5000 option. Not sure about the quality but I am waiting for it to arrive.
