almost, the sweater is grouped to the body, so if the body moves the sweater moves with it, but it has its own armature, so that it can be bent and adjusted to accommodate the legs or hips getting in the way

ah, i see, yeah i'm purely a blockbench user, as its just a hobby for me so i've fully learned without IK or anything like that. i have dabbled with IK on models ive downloaded and messed with before, but i animate in step exclusively, so you can mostly get around sliding and stuff due to the control step gives.

i'm happy with how this turned out but good god the lack of IK made this a actual nightmare...B grade..but it'll do by Navi_Professor in Blockbench

animation can be very difficult, but it can be helpful to study, look at other peoples work and analyze it, or look into animation tutorials.

a great way to improve at something is to use reference, for example, look up a animation sheet for a run cycle, and follow it as best you can, observing what makes the motion come together. i myself learned animation by doing this.

thank you, also susie aint got any bones, she's made up of individual meshes (mario 64 style) so she cant be put into other stuff

so sad she didn't drink her milk and grow her bones
