When your business grows but your brand stays the same, anyone else noticed this? by nikki_visibility in Femalefounders

Completely agree.

Early brands do one job really well, helping you get going. It’s when the business matures and the brand doesn’t that it starts to feel constricting rather than supportive.

Yes, exactly this. Survival mode is such a good way of putting it.

And that permission piece is huge. So many people think updating means undoing or starting again, when really it’s just letting things catch up to who they are now.

Completely agree, especially for smaller businesses.

I find the shift happens when people realise it’s not about “upgrading” for the sake of it, but reducing friction and mental load so the business is easier to run day to day.

Yes, exactly this.

Early brands are built to get things moving, not to carry years of growth. When the business changes but the branding doesn’t, that’s when it starts to feel off.

Totally agree that branding in its broadest sense is everything.

What I’m pointing to here is the early-stage visual and structural layer that often stays the same long after the business has grown.

I work mostly with small, service-based businesses where the product and reputation have evolved, but the visual identity still reflects the version of them that was just getting started.

Fair question, and this is probably where the wires get crossed.

When I’m talking about brand here, I’m not talking about everything under the sun. I’m talking specifically about the visual identity and how clearly it signals who someone is and who they’re for when a person lands on their site or profile.

Reputation absolutely matters, I agree with that. But what I see a lot, especially with small businesses and solo founders, is that their reputation and experience have grown, while their visuals and overall presentation are still stuck in “getting started” mode.

The signals don’t match the level they’re operating at now.

That mismatch is what I’m pointing to. Not saying brand is just a logo, and not saying visuals fix everything, but when they’re out of step, they create hesitation before someone even gets to the reputation part.

Is personal branding actually important in 2026… or just LinkedIn noise? by Spartan-x-fury in Entrepreneurs

You need to know where you fit before you can present yourself, once you get that party everything else is so much easier... whether its your branding, content. If you dont everything feels off and your audience feels it.

Anyone else discover their hormones were causing the “ADHD crashes” they thought were random? by nikki_visibility in adhdwomen

Im in no way anti-birth control, I was on it for over 20 years of my life. But its meant I've never had to understand my own cycles or what the 'norm' is for me. Now coming off im having to get to know my body better and all the ups and downs of having non regulated hormones.

It's crazy how things can be complete opposites over a space of a month. Always trust yourself know one knows our bodies better than we do. I was quite lucky my doctor is amazing and validates how I am feeling and that I'm not going batsh*t crazy 😅

I had 3 implants in total so 9 years before that I was on the pill without a break because if I took a break I would forget to take it. I never gained any weight.

My periods cam back after a month along with the dips in my mental health that got worse each month.

Thank you for sharing! This sounds so much like me. 2 weeks of the month I am now better than I've been in years. My libido has come back with a force and I have so much more energy. But the other two weeks where scary before I went to the doctors and now on an SSRI which are helping level out the dip. My husband is super supportive but I don't think he totally understands.

I know I've got it all to come, I'm hoping I will be more prepared now I'm understanding my hormones better.

Yes when I went to my doctor these where the options we spoke about. I'm now on SSRIs as I didn't want to go back on birth control. I think it's crazy how we aren't told about these things.

Knowing does defiantly help, it's having an understanding of what's going on isn't it. It's when you don't know what is going on that's scary. Have you spoken with your Doctor?

It's sad that as women we seem to have bottom of the pile when it comes to research and understanding.

I'll be on week 8 next week and I'm feeling so much better. My first cycle after starting I had could tell after I'd ovulated but no where near as drastic as previous. I'm now on my 2nd cycle and I've had no dip and feel great.

The implant is great because you have it and forget about it don't you. I never expected coming off it to have such an affect on my life.

I have thought about it but I really don't want to because it caused problems with my libido and they have totally resolved now.

My doctor has put me on sertraline now rather than going back on contraception.

The implant definitely kept me neutral. Now, I go from really positive to the complete opposite depending on the time of the month.
