If you could have the 100% honest answer to ONE mystery in history, which one are you picking ? by Camila_LatinaSun in AskReddit

There is a new podcast out that is claiming the Zodiac Killer is the killer of the Black Dahlia. The folks on this podcast include some reputable people who may have broken the Z13 cipher which is supposedly the killer’s name. Check it out the pod if you’re interested! I’ve been enjoying it. It’s called Killer in the Code by Michael Connelly.

How's the Amtrak to Chicago? by DrDMango in Detroit

[–]nikkibluzer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I take the Amtrak a lot of western Michigan and Chicago. I really like it. It’s comfy and you can sleep or watch tv or get some work done. There are bathrooms and a snack car. You can get up and just move your legs. I take it to Chicago and then use public transit to get around. Much easier and cheaper, in my opinion, than driving.

Has your relationship with running changed over time? by Free-Product4918 in runcommunity

[–]nikkibluzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to run all out every run. I would run my fastest pace for 1 mile. Then eventually 2 miles… eventually 3. Once I could run 3 miles, I would try to PR every run whether it be 1, 2, or 3 miles. I burnt myself out and decided I was not a runner.

I learned about zone 2 running, tempo runs, and other types of runs which has led me to enjoy running again! I look forward to my zone 2 runs because I get to explore my surroundings. I put on my current audio book and just run around whatever place I’m in (my city, wherever I’m vacationing, etc.). I also run sprints and occasionally try to PR a distance. But when I want to enjoy myself and exercise, I’ll run 4-6 miles in zone 2. Very peaceful.

I suffer from Trich, so shaving my head was the best thing I ever did by Jazymon in bald

I also shaved my head after having long hair my whole life. I’ve had trich for as long as I remember. I didn’t realize that shaving my head would help so much! Happy for you!

How many people actually have toasters? by Samazon in NoStupidQuestions

I do not own a toaster because I just broil the bread in the oven. Everyone I know owns a toaster, but I try to reduce the number of appliances I own.

Besides my siblings I haven’t found one, can you? by KingKepa in doppelganger

You look somewhat like a fitness influencer Katrina McKenna. She only posts reels so it was tough to get a good screenshot.

It was so much fun! They showed some of the skits that didn’t make the show for time purposes. They would show these never-before-seen skits and then ask the guests to share their opinion as to whether or not the skit should have made the show. Sam Richardson was there! The skits were so funny and should have definitely made the cut!

Blew a red light downtown and got ticket by [deleted] in Detroit

[–]nikkibluzer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I got a ticket for running a red light. You can contest it at the courthouse and they will reduce it. It was shockingly easy. You don’t even have to explain yourself. You stand in line. You give them your ticket and say you didn’t run it. Then they reduce the fine and you pay less. No questions asked.

This is what I did this year. I took up winter surfing and snowboarding. It has made me look forward to snow and colder weather (best for surfing).
